Matthew Williamson: 10 Years in Fashion

Matthew Williamson opened his exhibition Matthew Williamson: 10 Years in Fashion last night at London's Design Museum. Thandie Newton (who looked stunning in a Williamson graduated tutu-style creation), Alexandra Shulman, Virginia Bates, Plum Sykes and model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley were just a few of the guests who turned out to congratula te the man-of-the-(fashion)-moment and admire his archives; a frankly stunning culmination of ten years' hard work.

Having had Prince perform a live set at his spring/summer 2008 show last month - the designer's first in London in five years, especially to commemorate the anniversary - last night's party marked the end of a full-on month for Williamson, who was "overwhelmed" by the turnout and positively glowed as he chatted to guests.

The exhibition runs from October 17 to January 31 at the Design Museum
