Warhol’s Fashion ICON

The hotly-anticipated Andy Warhol Collection by Pepe Jeans is hitting the stores as we speak .

The capsule collection, which aims to capture the artist's spirit, takes inspiration from his work and the genre he helped shape during the Sixties. In essence a collection of accessories and graphic denim dresses in A-line shapes, it has been approved by the Andy Warhol foundation in New York - and, with its two themes, Pop and Factory, draws on his muses Edie Sedgwick and Candy Darling as inspiration.

While the vivid prints are influenced by Warhol's iconic Campbell's Soup Cans and The Two Marilyns, the subtler pieces are reminiscent of the artist's personal style and his fashion-forward thinking. Expect flowery prints, vibrant colours and the fabulous graphics that made Warhol a style icon.
