Visa Swap is back!
Following its
successful launch in 2007, Visa Swap is returning for a second year to
encourage shoppers to support sustainable fashion. From June 21, shoppers can
donate their unwanted designer and high-street clothes to a pop-up shop in London's Covent Garden in
exchange for points, which can then be used to 'buy' items donated by other
shoppers. New for 2008 is the addition of a dedicated accessories room;
menswear room with a tailor on hand to offer advice; and The Fashionspace Visa
Swap Market, where shoppers can buy items from individual designers from
fashionspace.com including jewellery, corsages, zips and buttons. Recycling
charity TRAID is continuing its involvement in the project and any clothes
leftover from the event will be recycled by TRAID.
