Go green and still pick up a bargain

Vintage clothing fans can pick up a bargain at a charity event this Saturday which is held in Glasgow.

The event is hosted by DJ Heather Suttie who works on XFM Scotland.

The Say No To Plastic Vintage Charity Sale is being held at Oran Mor, Byres Road, in Glasgow on Saturday, March 22nd. Tickets are £10 and the event starts at 12.00 GMT and finishes at 18.00 GMT.

Shoppers get a free biodegradable jute bag from Say No To Plastic containing Aveda products. A glass of free bubbly is offered and canapes.

Organisations benefiting from the proceeds are the NCH Scotland and the Prince and Princess of Wales

Ms Suttie, said: "It's a brilliant way of making space in your wardrobe for some summer clothes and introduce people who maybe haven't known where to go in the past to vintage clothes."

Ticket holders can also browse designer clothing by Missy Montague, Cathal McAteer and Dazed Dorothy.
