Claudia Schiffer is going to join the
judging panel for the prestigious River Island Gold Award at this year's
Graduate Fashion Week in London.
With a winning prize fund of £20,000 to match its stellar judging cast, the
award is one of the most coveted in the industry - ensuring a top-notch turn
out from London's
most promising young designers.
"I have been privileged to witness the incredible expertise of some of the most inspiring design talents in the world," says Schiffer - who celebrates 21 years on the fashion stage this year - of her new role. "The passion and energy that surrounds this creative world are addictive and to take part in supporting the birth of new talent is fantastic." Graduate Fashion Week runs from June 8 to 11.
