Valentino on the big screen

Valentino is the latest designer to be the subject of a new documentary that will make its debut at the Cannes Film Festival in May.

Matt Tyrnauer, a correspondent for American Vanity Fair has spent two years filming the design legend at work. There was over 250 hours of footage of Valentino and his entourage that had to be edited down for the documentary called Valentino: The Last Emperor.

The release of the Valentino documentary follows 'Lagerfeld Confidentiel' a fly - on - the - wall documentary about Chanel designer Karl Largefeld that was released last year.
