Sao Paulo Fashion Week, the 21^st century Babel

The queen of punk, Vivienne Westwood is one of the main attractions of exhilarating Sao Paolo Fashion Week, which officially kicked off yesterday in Brazil. In its 12th year, fashion week organisers have dubbed this year's event The 21st Century's Babel, celebrating chaos and diversity in the tropical city. Iconic Brazilian shoe brand Melissa has collaborated with Westwood to design two styles of their famous rubber footwear, while staging an exhibition in tribute to 30 years of Westwood's own wild podiatric creations.

On the catwalks models Coco Rocha and Irina Lazareanu are already mingling with the rest of the body beautiful on the catwalks.

As for designer highlight, it is worth to check out the veterans Osklen, Gloria Coelho, Reinaldo Lourenco, Alexandre Herchcovitch and Ellus alongside upcoming names like Isabela Capeto and Neon.
