From Prada to Lancôme

Anne Hathaway has landed a new starring role alongside Kate Winslet and Clive Owen - as an ambassador for beauty giant Lancôme. The announcement ends months of speculation that the Devil Wears Prada star would become the newest face of the brand, as it attempts to tap into a younger base of consumers. "Anne Hathaway is a radiant young woman who perfectly embodies modern femininity," said Odile Roujol, president of Lancôme International, in a statement as the news was announced. "We know she will portray all the passion and excitement of our new fragrance, to be launched throughout the world in September 2008."
