Emma Hill to replace Katie Grand at
Mulberry
Mulberry named Emma Hill as it's new
creative director. Emma is set to replace Katie Grand, editor-in-chief of Pop
magazine and style consultant for brands such as Prada and Louis Vuitton.
Industry sources suggested Grand's future at the brand was uncertain due to her
time commitments. Hill has previously worked at Marc Jacobs, Marc by Marc
Jacobs, Calvin Klein, Chloé and Gap. She will oversee all creative aspects of
the company and will make her design debut for the brand with its spring 2009
collection. "I've always loved Mulberry and look forward lending my skills
to build on the brand's exciting recent achievements and secure its position in
the international marketplace," Hill told WWD.
