Pepsi Outfit?
PEPSI is launching a womenswear line for
spring/summer, based on the company's archive of images and slogans, as well as
the current trends. The collection will be a range of denim, tops and outwear
and will be available in America
from next year.
Pepsi have previously launched a menswear
line which is currently available in 200 stores. Joanne Loria, executive vice
president of the Joester Loria Group, Pepsi's licensing agency, expected the
womenswear to be in 1000 stores within a year. She also admits that they will
rely on celebrity promotion of their clothes, "This is not a line that
will be advertised in style magazines, but could be photographed on a star and
featured in that magazine."
