Dior Takes Over Hugo Boss
Claus-Dietrich Lahrs, CEO of Christian Dior Couture, has been named as the
new head of Hugo Boss.
Lahrs, who has been in charge at French fashion house Dior for almost 5
years will replace former Hugo Boss CEO Bruno Saelzer in August, according to a
statement by the company.
Saelzer quit the company in February after disagreements with their leading
investors, Permira.
Lahrs is now looking forward to the new challenge: "My goal is to bring
more of an international presence to the brand, in the large and growing
markets of Asia and America,"
he said in the statement.
