British Fashion Awards Nominees

The British Fashion Council has announced the nominees for the 2007 British Fashion Awards, sponsored by Swarovski.

Luella Bartley who lost the title of Designer of the Year to Giles Deacon last

year has her second chance now, the prize will also be disputed by Christopher Kane, Gareth Pugh and Mario Schwab.

Agyness Deyn, Lily Cole and Irina compete for the Model of the Year title and last year's Designer of the Year Giles Deacon is up against Marchesa and Stella McCartney for Red Carpet Designer of the Year.

Fashion legend Isabella Blow will be honoured by this year's Fashion Creator: Mert & Marcus, Michael Howells or Terry Jones.

The winners for all ten categories - compiled by the BFC's Press Committee chaired by British Vogue editor Alexandra Schulman - will be announced at a fashion-star-studded ceremony at the Lawrence Hall in Westminster on November 27.
