The return of Vivienne Westwood
Having shown in Paris for the past nine years,
the grand dame of British fashion this year chose to grace London instead with her presence, making it the
hottest ticket of the week.
In a stunning show at the Old Sorting House in central London, the godmother of
punk's latest collection - microskirts and minidresses worn with knee-high
leather boots - was pure rock'n'roll.
Rumours had been circulating for weeks that Kate Moss would stalk the catwalk,
however, rumour was all it was, and instead it was the supermodel Lily
Donaldson who had the honour of escorting Vivienne for her lap of honour after
the show.
Other shows of the day included Jenny Packham, which attracted the likes of
Jamelia and Anastasia, Issa and the other hot ticket, Luella, which had Lily
Allen, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Sienna Miller's sister Savannah on the front row.
